Originally from Philadelphia, **Bill Bell** is a completely self-taught artist who has devoted himself to painting full-time since 1982, after a successful career as a musician and executive in the recording industry.
For Bill, painting is a true vocation: *“It is also my pleasure, my therapy and my challenge. »* Working mainly in brightly colored acrylics, he creates scenes rich in detail and great visual complexity, inspired by his memories, people, animals, events and dreams that have marked his life.
His unique and enchanting universe has been reproduced on numerous media, including art prints, posters, greeting cards, t-shirts, puzzles, children's books, album covers as well as several series of collector's plates published by the Franklin Mint.
Bill Bell likes to portray people and animals in situations that are both pleasant and often deliciously absurd. Each of his works invites the viewer to explore the entire canvas in order to discover the countless details, the vibrant colors and the scenes full of life.
